Had a spectacular time off work to visit world heritages. The initial plan was to hike up Mount Merapi, but it was spilling ashes up to 2km, and visitors were prohibited to go near the volcanoe. There were lots more to do, including visiting Borobudur temple (catching sunrise there) and Prambanan temple (both on the World Heritage list). The crowd and traffic in Bali wasn't to be missed. The padi fields on the fertile slopes of volcanoes in Ubud is not to be missed too!
