NSW CIAP Paediatric Clinical Practice Guidelines

 

 

These are the guidelines written by NSW Health. It covers the most common clinical paediatric presentations to the Emergency department, and is the bread and butter of paediatric medicine. 

 

Highly recommended to junior medical officers, particularly those working at the ED or with kids in general.

 

The latest guidelines should be up pretty soon.

The Royal Children Hospital Clinical Practice Guidelines

A very handy site from the world class Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne. It contains most of the medical and surgical conditions commonly seen in the paediatric population. It covers the basic information, need to knows, management principals, as well as fact sheets for parents.

 

There are also templates for asthma management plan, sick day plans for diabetics, etc.

The Neonatal eHandbook is a very useful page and provides a very sturdctured approach to the clinical management of common clinical conditions seen in neonates.
